Work Statement: MMPI-2 is a test given at times to individuals in order to define generalized personality traits they may exhibit. I’m interested in how questions, answers and personality can change over time. This piece displays my answers to the MMPI-2 test which I took twice over a period of 3 years. I see it as a personal record of my past, present and future.

Work Statement: The systems of life relate to waves as they coexist but might not interact until they actually meet. Upon their meeting the transfer of energy generated in the present, elsewhere or some time ago is then exchanged. Leaving us to define specific variations with in the system(s). Such variations create complexity in life and can be attributed to the definition of Chaos dynamics defining the present as determining the future, while simultaneously defining that the approximate present does not approximately determine the future.
“Timeline” is made of 365 pieces of laminated glass and steel . The glass is constantly changing as you look at it. When you approach the piece from the right side, the glass appears dark in color. The dark color is symbolic of what we think or anticipate the “future” to hold.
While standing directly in front of the work you will notice the dark areas of glass disappear to clear. The disappearance of the darkness to clear glass represents the “present” which holds infinite possibilities and experiences. Walking towards the end of the glass and looking towards the beginning you will notice the entire piece appears dark. This time the darkness of the glass represents the perception of the “past” within our memory.
